December is now a blur
Hope everyone is enjoying family and friends today and tomorrow. My holiday started with a trip to Ashland OR. to meet up with LE.
Jill, Madison and I had a great trip with a few adventures along the way.
But Ashland was wonderful ...as I knew it would be. I got to show them my fave places. There is a new fabric store...which was good since my fave, Fiber Fushion, was closed. Anahata's store Papyaya,
Prize
and Webster's are a must to visit...
but we found some new spots. We had an amazing breakfast at Brothers and an equally delish meal at Adave....
We did some projects in our room and just enjoyed hanging out together.
LE got an amazing necklace and some great finds at a record store for the way home. Jill found lots of treasures and a new purse and Madison worked on some projects too. I knitted a hat from some great yarn at Webster's.
Had a great breakfast at Morning Glory...as usual and then good byes to LE and then down the road. We had lots of different weather but we did not have to put the chains back on....On the way home we were busy figuring out our next "meet up" trip...maybe Big Sur or San Fran!
See you next year!

What happen to Nov.?
Well it was a good one. Had 2 Thanksgivings and I did not have to cook any turkey. Had a great but too fast visit from LE and saw lots of family. I think it has been 10 years for my nephew, Jeff's kids...and lots of babies!
Now it is Dec. It is the much anticipated 12-12-1212...Happy day Lupe...That is what Our Lady of Guadalupe likes me to call her.
We had a very nice open House at the Art Hus
and a great couple classes at The Art Clinic...so things are ticking along.
...and Madison got her hair cut....
I am the featured artist this month in the Guild Room at Los Olivos Gallery. Come check it out if you are near
I have exciting plans next week...a get together the 20th at the Art Clinic...come on by and then Jill,,,, Madison and I are going to do a road trip to meet LE in one of my fave places..Ashland, OR. We will be back in time to set out cookies and carrots for Santa and the reindeer. Wonder if we will see snow?
Another future note...Colleen, Mary
and I still have room in our The Whole Enchilada Workshop and Tour. Scroll down to see the details.
So that is a little catch up...

Oaxaca
Have you ever wanted to go to the real Mexico? The part that is safe, has lots of art and color and friendly people? Did you ever want to travel with people who like to shop and visit local artist's homes? And then there is the food.....The cheese alone is worth the trip. Ok, well top that off by having 3 artists at your disposal. One is a seasoned tour guide and trip organizer in Mexico. One is a fiber artist and workshop teacher and one is a mixed media artist and workshop teacher. Then the cherry on the top is a fun workshop where we will use local textiles to construct or embellish an existing bag of various size options along with equally fun fiber jewelry. We have a few examples at this time and more almost done but we want to get you thinking about this and answer any questions as soon as possible. This class is limited to 10. That is the number of guests that fit comfortably in the hacienda.
Email Colleen Darling at colleen950@gmail.com to get on the list. I have already posted the info but it does not print out well so I have a pdf we can send you. Let Colleen know you would like that sent to you.
